Meet The Team

Owner & Groomer
Bre Shattles
Bre is the proud owner of Happy Hounds and has been professionally grooming dogs for over 5 years. What started as a passion quickly turned into a full-time career built on trust, care, and a love for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Bre takes pride in making every pup feel comfortable, safe, and of course—looking their absolute best. At Happy Hounds, every dog is treated like family, and Bre’s gentle approach ensures tails are always wagging.

Groomer
Katy StPierre
With 6 years of grooming experience, Katy brings skill, care, and a true passion for her craft to every appointment. She’s especially known for her expertise with Schnauzers—they're her favorite breed to groom, and it shows in every perfectly trimmed beard and fluffy leg. Whether it's a breed-specific cut or a simple tidy-up, Katy combines precision with a gentle touch to make sure every pup leaves looking (and feeling) their best. Her calm, patient demeanor helps dogs relax and enjoy their spa day at Happy Hounds.

Groomer
Hannah Cumings
Always with a smile on her face, Hannah is ready to give your pups unconditional love during their visit. With a calm and slow approach, even the most anxious dogs love her—and we do too! Hannah specializes in de-shed grooms, striving to give all of our vacuums a break!

Store Associate
Avery Adams
Avery is the first smiling face you and your pup will see when you walk into Happy Hounds. As our go-to store associate and greeter, she handles check-ins, answers questions, and makes sure every visit starts off on the right paw. With a love for dogs and a calm, friendly energy, Avery helps create a stress-free, welcoming environment for both pets and their people. Whether it's your first appointment or your tenth, she’s here to make the experience smooth, easy, and enjoyable from the moment you walk through the door.

Inventory Decorator
Katie-Jo
Here with a smile on her face and ready to greet you—but mainly your pups—Katie-Jo is the real star of Happy Hounds. Don’t mind the bags of treats on the floor or the toys making a mess on the shelf; she takes her job as decorator very seriously.

Welcoming Committee
Moose
Mr. Mooser Boy can often be found lying on the floor acting like a bear rug behind the counter—usually because he got caught stealing another toy off the rack or chasing Katie-Jo as she drops snacks. He loves butt scratches, being told he’s a good boy, and treats. He can’t wait to assist you in finding the perfect goodies for your pup!
